Frequently Asked Questions

How long does it take to make the payment on your Web site?
After you enter the order information, it only takes a few seconds to process your credit card information. You will automatically receive a confirmation e-mail after you make the payment.

After I make the payment, how long does it take to process my account?
Typical response time is less than 24 hours. We try to process your account as soon as we receive the confirmation e-mail from our merchant who accepts your payment. Some subscribers get their accounts processed in less than 15 minutes from the time they make their payment.

How do I get my account ID and password?
Once you've made the payment, you'll automatically receive an e-mail from us with your account ID and password. You will need this information to access the subscriber's area.

Where do you keep my credit card number?
Your credit card transaction is handled by PayPal, an eBay company. Since your credit card number is processed directly by PayPal, TechGalaxy.net doesn't have a need to keep your credit card number on file. In fact, your credit card number or other personal information is never revealed to us. You can visit PayPal for more information on how they process and protect customer transactions.

How is the information transferred to your merchant when I click on the New Subscribers button and accept your terms?
The information you provide on that screen is transferred using industry standard Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology which encrypts the data for confidentiality. You can ensure that SSL is being used by verifying that the URL starts with https (http-secure), instead of the usual http. For security purposes, you should always verify that the URL starts with "https://www.paypal.com" before you make the payment.

Can I share my account with another person?
No. According to the Terms of Use (which you agree to when you subscribe), you may not share your account ID and/or password with another person. You could be held liable for losses incurred by TechGalaxy.net or another party due to someone else using your account or password. You may want to visit the "Member Account, Password, and Security" section of the Terms of Use for more information.

Is it possible for you to find out if my account is being used by more than one person?
Yes.

Do you offer a business rate for companies that have several people interested in subscribing to your services?
Not at this time. Currently we offer services only to individuals. We may consider that option at a later date. You can always check with Subscriptions if you have any specific questions, or inquire about special rates.

Can I get a refund if I decide I don't want to continue my subscription?
No. The subscription payments are not refundable, as specified in the Subscription Rates section above and in the Terms of Use. It is your responsibility to inquire about the content available on TechGalaxy.net, or the services offered, to your complete satisfaction before you subscribe. If you wish to discontinue using our services, simply send us an e-mail and we will disable your account. However, your payment will not be refunded.

What forms of payments do you accept?
We accept VISA, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, and eChecks through PayPal. However, payments must be made online by visiting our Web site.

Do you accept personal checks, cash, money orders, or any other form of payment?
No. We only accept credit cards and eChecks. We accept VISA, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, and eChecks through PayPal.

Is the subscription rate in U.S. dollars?
Yes.

Can I change my login password myself?
We don't have that capability at this time. However, our developers are working on it and we hope to add that functionality sometime in the future. If you wish to use a specific password, our support staff can set that up for you.
