  • Group Policy .ADM files
    Administrative Template files are used to populate user interface settings in the Group Policy Object Editor, enabling administrators to manage registry-based policy settings. Previously, customers could only obtain the most recent .adm files by obtaining the latest service pack or operating system. Now, these .adm files are available directly from this page.
     
  • Group Policy Management Console (GPMC)
    The GPMC lets administrators manage Group Policy for multiple domains and sites within one or more forests. It includes new functionality such as backup, restore, import, copy, and reporting of GPOs. Works on Windows Server 2003 and Windows 2000. NOTE: To manage Win2K you either need a Win2003 or Windows XP with SP1 and .NET Framework.
    In addition, a post-SP1 hotfix (QFE Q326469) is required on Windows XP.

  • DBXtract
    DBXtract extracts all mail and news messages from individual dbx files. After extracting the messages one can drag them from a Windows Explorer folder into an Outlook Express mail folder. This freeware tool is only 72KB in size.
     
  • Domain rename fixup
    Repair Exchange Server attributes in Active Directory directory service after using the Microsoft Windows Server 2003 domain rename tool. All Exchange servers in the renamed forest must be running Exchange Server 2003 SP1.
     
  • Error code lookup
    Use the Error Code Lookup tool to determine error values from decimal and hexadecimal error codes in Windows operating systems. The tool can look up one or more values at a time. All values on the command line will be looked up in Exchange’s internal tables and presented to you.
