Default Cluster Sizes for FAT16, FAT32 and NTFS in Windows XP

When using Disk Management, Windows XP will use the following cluster sizes by default. If you want to use a different cluster size, you can use the FORMAT command at the command prompt with /a:size parameter to specify a different cluster size. Type FORMAT /? at the command prompt for help.

To modify the cluster size, you either need to use a third-party tool, such as Partition Magic, or reformat the volume.
