MCT 2003 Program Requirements
MCTs will be required to fulfill annual program requirements during the MCT 2003 Program year in order to renew into the MCT 2004 Program. The requirements ensure that all MCTs maintain broad technical knowledge and up-to-date teaching skills. Renewals for the MCT 2004 Program begin October 1, 2003, so be sure you have fulfilled your requirements before this date.
Reporting of how you fulfill program requirements is based on the honor system. You are responsible for keeping this information in your own records. You will not be asked to mail or fax proof of delivery days or Continuing Education Credits (CECs) during the program year, but you will use these records to enter your delivery days and earned CECs in the MCT Enrollment Tool when you renew each year.
Microsoft will conduct a random audit each year of approximately five percent of the MCT community to ensure MCTs are fulfilling the requirements. Review the chart below for more information about program requirements, or review Section 5 of the MCT Program Guide.
More information is available on the MCT FAQ page.
